Phone assistant: AI that answers your phone

The phone rings while you are up a ladder, in a meeting or simply have your hands full. Whoever does not pick up, loses a customer. A phone assistant answers with a natural voice, helps callers with the common questions right away and neatly queues up the rest for you.

A shop owner stands at the counter of her store, checking on her phone what the assistant took care of for her.

Why missed calls cost so much

Callers who reach no one rarely leave a message. They call the next name on the list. That is how requests disappear without you ever knowing they existed. And the calls you do answer interrupt exactly the work you are in the middle of: pick up, switch context, jot something down, then find the thread again.

What a phone assistant concretely does

Answering and understanding the question

The assistant answers with a natural voice and honestly says the caller is talking to an assistant. It asks follow-up questions until it is clear what the call is about.

Helping directly or taking a proper note

Common questions, such as opening hours, prices or the status of a job, the assistant answers based on your own information. For other calls it records the name, number and question, or books an appointment straight into your calendar.

Transferring when it really matters

If the caller insists on speaking to a person, or the assistant is unsure, it transfers the call or leaves a callback note with a summary attached. You call back at a moment that suits you.

For example

Answered while you are up on the roof

Say an installer is on a roof in the morning and cannot pick up. A customer calls about a boiler failure. The assistant records the address, asks what exactly the boiler is doing and schedules a callback. Between two jobs the installer reads the summary and calls back with the answer already prepared.

What does a phone assistant cost?

A phone assistant starts from €5,500 excluding VAT. On top of that there are per-minute call costs for telephony and speech processing; we discuss those up front, so you know exactly what a call costs. After the Work Scan you receive a fixed quote up front.

Want to know first whether this pays off in your business? The Work Scan (€495 excluding VAT) maps how many calls you currently miss and what the assistant needs to handle.

Frequently asked questions

Doesn't such an assistant sound like a robot?

Today's voices sound natural. The assistant does always say honestly that the caller is talking to an assistant; we do not pretend it is a human.

What happens when the assistant gets stuck?

It transfers the call to you or your team, or leaves a callback note with a summary of the conversation. The caller does not have to repeat their story.

Can I keep my own phone number?

Yes. Your current number forwards to the assistant, for example only outside office hours or when you do not pick up yourself. You decide when the assistant answers.

What does it cost exactly?

From €5,500 excluding VAT for the build, plus per-minute call costs. After the Work Scan you get a fixed quote, with the per-minute costs clearly listed.
